Facekinis in Hong Kong: yay or nay?
Bank robber mask, fashion accessory or anti-ageing beachwear? Facekinis, which first hit the scene in Qingdao, China, are becoming increasingly popular in Hong Kong. They have been sighted in beaches including Repulse Bay, Deep Water Bay and Stanley Main Beach.
Facekinis are mostly a craze for older women who want to protect their faces from sunlight, which could cause freckles, wrinkles and ageing, as well as jellyfish stings. Since then, they have become a high fashion item featured in French fashion magazine CR Fashion Book.
