Global phenomenon BTS has just released the fourth and final part in the LY-trilogy, titled Love Yourself: Answer. They are doing what many said couldn’t be done: bringing K-pop to the western market, becoming undeniably the biggest K-pop act of the moment. Not to mention repeatedly selling out arena's around the world within a matter of minutes!

The title track IDOL is a serious jam. This was the first tune I heard, and I loved it on first listen. It has the upfront synths, vocals, and in-your-face attitude that are extremely distinctive!  The single stood out unlike the slow blues + emotional rap - all adding up to songs that portray brilliant messages; encouraging resistance and freedom. To add on, the music video is apt for the radiant song; wild and dynamic.

I have to say, the Trivia Series from the rapline aren't really my songs.  Personally, the tracks were too deliberate. I have to acknowledge the relaxing vibe, it's got a neutral, raw feel to it - but I'm into beats that get my blood pumping.

BTS consistently releases solo-tracks - of which Singularity is one of my personal favourites. It really is rewarding to see that they aren’t afraid to experiment with genres like jazz - one of the reasons that separate BTS from the others.

Coming amid high expectations to see what’s next for BTS after they went to No. 1 on Itunes, this album goes beyond with its smash hits. The powerful lyricism portrayed are layered over a great contrast between vocals and rap :).  To finish off, Answer is undeniably a magnum opus that won't fail to awe its listeners.
