We asked our readers to write a review of a movie they think deserves an Oscar. Here is one of the entries. It has not been edited.

For me, I think the movie Wonder Woman kicked some serious butt. Think about it in this man controlled world a superhero who is a  woman fighting 'bad guys'. It is all too predictable when a male superhero fights crime and saves the day. Yes, we get it  men are the dominant species but how often do we see a woman taking charge ?

The plot is simple and easy to understand. Diana Prince who grows up on the Amazon island of Thermyscira - where no man has ever stepped foot. One day, a pilot crashes his plane near this island. After being rescued by Diana he tells her and the rest of the ongoing war. Then, Diana steps up.

It is life like for me because among my friends and me  -  hanging out  with guys is a serious taboo also because my parents are very strict.
