Chinese singer, dancer and actor Jackson Yee would be my choice. He is my idol so I would like to sing Don’t Tie Me Down with him at his 19th birthday party and make a video of it. I would wear a pretty dress for the special occasion.
Tan Chun-ying, 13, South Tuen Mun Government Secondary School
I’ll choose electronic music legend Alan Walker to sing with me. His 2015 single, Faded, got more than 2.3 billion views on YouTube. He was just 18 years old at the time. He is the person that I admire the most.
Clarence Li, 12, Carmel Pak U Secondary School
It would be a dream come true if I could sing a duet with Taylor Swift. I’ve been listening to her songs since I was five years old, and although she doesn’t release many new albums now, I still love her. My favourite is You Belong with Me. Swift has millions of fans, so if I could sing with her, I would get a lot of attention, too. I would like to sing Look What You Made Me Do with her.
Henry Chow Ka-hang, 13, King Ling College
Man of many talents
It would be so perfect if I could sing with KUN. He is the leader of Chinese boy group Nine Percent. He is a rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer and basketball player. I really respect his courage and enthusiasm.
Harden Yau, 17, Fung Kai No1 Secondary School
My pick would be Harry Potter star Emma Watson. She is gorgeous and sings very well. She is also one of my favourite actresses.
Sarah Shum Chung-yan, 15, Pooi To Middle School
All the genres
It would have to be JJ Lin. JJ is a Singaporean singer and songwriter. He songs range from jazz to R’n’B. And he composes all his songs. If I could sing with him, I would feel really honoured. Maybe I could even learn something about music.
Wong Man-yi, 16, Pok Oi Hospital 80th Anniversary Tang Ying Hei College
Selena Gomez, the American singer. Her motto is: “Treat others how you wish to be treated.” She has a positive attitude and is very kind. That’s why I would want to sing a duet with her.
Cho Wing-tung, 13, Pope Paul VI College
It would be Usher because he is so cool and he has a nice voice.
Carmalin Rozairo, 15, Delia Memorial School (Hip Wo)
