Write here: Our time on Earth

Write here: Our time on Earth

This weeks poem reflects on life and the moments we may take for granted

Treasure Life

Time flies –

Suddenly I’m running into a new year.

Experiences I’ve learned from,

And friends I’ve made and lost.

So many things done and incomplete.

Felt so much sadness, pain, and regret

Write here: The war that rages within

And forgot about love, along with

Exams coming like an unavoidable tsunami. But …

Life is unpredictable, we’re all

Ignorant to God’s ways, so don’t be scared to

Fall, as we become stronger and braver. So just

Enjoy a new year and treasure life!

Every week, we publish readers’ creative writing, poetry, photographs and artwork. For the chance to see your work published, email it to yp@scmp.com, along with your full name, age and school, and with “write here” in the subject field. (Photos/artwork should be at least 1MB.)
