Each week we’ll choose readers’ responses to share. This week we want to know:

Meeting divinity

Jesus Christ. He was the son of God and saviour of all humans. I would like to meet Jesus – not only to listen to his teachings, but also to see whether his powers are real or not. I would like to ask him why he loves us, though I know the answer already.

Cathy Kwok, 14, Pooi To Middle School

Patent pending

Thomas Alva Edison, one of America’s greatest inventors. He came up with inventions such as the light bulb and phonograph (a kind of music player). Apart from being an inventor, Edison was also a successful businessman and manufacturer, and registered an astonishing 1,093 patents.

Hazel Tse Hoi-ting, 12, Henrietta Secondary school

I say: If you could travel to the future, what would you do and why?

I am a Form Six student and I would like to get Albert Einstein’s help to solve maths problems. Maths is a difficult subject and I would ask the scientist for some tips on tackling it.

Brian Ngan Ling-hang, 18, Fung Kai Liu Man Shek Tong Secondary School

The scientific method

British scientist Isaac Newton, because he is a truly inspiring person. I think he is the greatest scientist of all time. He made many notable discoveries in the fields of physics and mathematics. His achievements in gravity, optics, mechanics, and calculus have been very influential.

If I could meet him, I would like to know his habits and hobbies – besides conducting experiments. I would like to do experiments with him because I love science, too.

Lam Ying-yu, 13, Pope Paul VI College

I say: If you could travel into space, which planet would you visit?

King of pop

I am a Michael Jackson superfan. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if I could meet the pop star in person? He released so many songs that thrilled music fans. He was the King of Dance in the 1980s and 1990s, and I would love to dance with him. I love dancing and I would want him to teach me a few tricks that would make me a better dancer.

Joy Ho Tin-yuet, 12, PLK Ma Kam Ming College

I'll be Bach

German composer Johann Sebastian Bach. I love music, and Bach is a great musician. I want to know more about music, and to achieve this goal, it would be a good idea to be Bach’s apprentice. With his expert guidance, I would be able to perform better music.

Allison Lau Wing-hung, 12, St Francis Canossian College

Next week’s question is:

If you could have any pet, what would it be and why?

To take part, send your answers to yp@scmp.com. Include your full name, class, school and age. Then check next week’s paper to see if your answer is featured!
