While most magical items in the Harry Potter series, such as the Liquid Luck potion or the invisibility cloak, would produce terrible results if they fell into the wrong hands, I could see no such problem with the remembrall. A harmless, palm-sized. glass globe, the smoke in a remembrall turns red when its owner has forgotten something. This device is especially useful for forgetful people like me, as we could check it right before we left a room to make sure we haven’t left anything behind.

If the philosopher’s stone were real, it would be awesome because it’s such a legendary item in the Harry Potter series. It can change any metal to gold, which would be very lucrative. But it doesn’t stop there: it could be used to make the Elixir of Life potion which makes the drinker immortal. So I could be both very rich and live forever.
Contestant 3
What’s something I could pack my whole house into without worrying about size or weight? Hermione’s handbag! I’d lend it to aid organisations which help people during disasters. Then dozens of men would be spared a lot of hard work. One could carry all the supplies in this bag without ever feeling tired.
Contestant 4
What I want most is the invisibility cloak. Firstly, it would keep me safe from danger. Secondly, it could hide me from someone who is chasing me. What’s more, I could listen to others talking about me when they think I’m not around.
Contestant 5
I wish Felix Felicis, otherwise known as Liquid Luck, were real so that every time there is a competition, I could drink the potion and win. I would run for chief executive and be confident that I would win. I could also conquer all the countries in the world because I would win every war. I could do whatever I wanted, and every time there was a vote or a judicial review, my government would surely win. Then I could become the king of the world!
Contestant 6
Floo powder can take you anywhere, any time. It would make travelling even more convenient in the modern world. You don’t need to worry about your plane crashing, and the roads would be peaceful. Also, floo powder would be very useful for those who struggle to be on time for meetings, dinners and other social events. Imagine a world where you and your friends would never be late!
Contestant 7
The pensieve: this enchanted item can recreate memories so they can be relived. Whoever looks into the pensieve is able to enter their own (or even someone else’s!) memories, and move around with them as if they were there. The pensieve can help us to understand other people’s choices. It would be particularly helpful in figuring out, for example, Hitler’s motive behind exterminating Jews.
