‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ has good special effects but lacks plot

Every Wednesday we ask our Brain Game contestants one interesting, thought-provoking or just plain quirky question. Their answers will be published anonymously in Young Post. Then readers can vote for their FAVOURITE answer. We will eliminate the contestant with the LEAST votes every week until we have a winner.

The ultimate Brain Game winner will receive an Apple Watch Sport worth HK$2,728.

The contestants

Contestant 1

I would want to live in San Fransokyo: the technology-driven city from the movie Big Hero 6. San Fransokyo is the coolest place you could possibly live in. There's clever technology everywhere around you, like at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, where the smartest minds create robotics that could do things that no one could even dream of in today's world.

San Fransokyo also has the coolest blend of architecture. Combining the modern architecture of the cities of San Francisco and Tokyo, it looks awesome in the night sky; and of course, everybody loves Baymax!

Contestant 2

I would like to live in a loop (check out Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children). A loop is a space managed by some bird ladies which repeats the same day endlessly.

By stepping into a loop, you may find yourself enjoying a carnival in who-knows-when, or at any important historical moments. I could become a time-traveller and see the greatest events that happened in human civilisation. I'd never get old and would stay young forever.

I may also find myself in the company of peculiar children, who can breathe fire, tell the future or become invisible. Just imagine the fun we could have together! (Even raiding candy or ice cream stores would be permitted; no one remembers once the loop is re-looped anyway.)

Contestant 3

People who know me know I'm crazy about the TV series Teen Wolf. I would love to live in Beacon Hills, the fictional town where Teen Wolf is set. Even though the place is brimming with werewolves, kitsunes, and other mythical (and, most of the time, dangerous) creatures.

In Beacon Hills, deaths are so common, nobody bothers about them any more, but it would be worth risking death to live in the same place as my favourite characters Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski, Kira Yukimura, and many more. Also, Stiles Stilinski is an extraordinary person, and facing monsters would be worth it if I could meet him in person. (That's my inner fan talking.)

Contestant 4

The Land of Oz, in The Wizard of Oz. I would love to see little Munchkins doing their daily work, or winged monkeys up in the sky. I'd enjoy the company of small china girls who could talk, and also seeing the magnificent Emerald City.

Just imagine: everything is green, so it would be so strange when you take off your sunglasses to go back into the normally coloured world.

Meeting animals that can talk would be amazing. Think about all the things we could learn from them! I would love to have a conversation with a tiger or an elephant. But if I ever encountered a Kalidah, I'd run away as fast as possible!

Contestant 5

I would die to live in Narnia. There, I would become a Daughter of Eve, instead of a butcher of the Chinese language. Rodents would finally become civilised, and I would be able to speak to talking ponies, and violent centaurs. If I'm lucky, I might even be crowned Queen of Narnia or something like that.

Most importantly of all, I would be able to escape the wrath of reality - aka the DSEs. I'd much rather take down a White Witch or two, or deal with sarcastic beavers, than prep for those exams, which, by the way, are so brutal they don't qualify as exams any more. Lions look tame by comparison.
