Every Wednesday we ask our Brain Game contestants one interesting, thought-provoking or just plain quirky question. Their answers will be published anonymously in Young Post. Then readers can vote for their FAVOURITE answer. We will eliminate the contestant with the LEAST votes every week until we have a winner.

The ultimate Brain Game winner will receive an Apple Watch Sport worth HK$2,728.

The contestants

Contestant 1

Rats! They should all be completely trained to do what we want them to do; for example, stay out of sight for eternity. Rats have been plaguing the Earth forever, and they are incredibly disgusting. They shouldn't be allowed to exist, really. If they were domesticated, that would bring so much more happiness into the world.

Contestant 2

Geckos, aka "house lizards", should be fully domesticated. Those little brownish-grey buddies that glide along the walls of your home don't require feeding, medical treatment, or vaccination, so there'll be no

eye-popping bill from the vet. And they take out mosquitoes for free! With sky-high rents, you don't want a pet that takes up HK$10,000 worth of space!

Contestant 3

Red pandas! Honestly, they are so unbelievably cute, cuddly, adorable and gush-worthy! Also, these furballs are only slightly larger than domesticated cats (do cats class as domesticated? I mean, they don't really listen to anyone!) so they shouldn't be too hard to tame.

Contestant 4

Fennec foxes! They are small and so lovable! And they have big ears so they'll at least listen to humans. They are so much more fun to interact with than boring old goldfish that only swim around breathing out bubbles all day long. They are also easy to take care of as they have short fur and their diet is fairly simple. I would love to keep one as a pet!

Contestant 5

Llamas, definitely. My love for llamas runs deep. They are so fluffy and they would be great to hug when you're feeling sad. It's a hoot just looking at them: their expressions and their long, awkward bodies are pure meme material. Also, have you seen how cute baby llamas are? Just imagine how a fully domesticated llama could change your life!

Contestant 6

It's got to be a bear. Bears are enchanting, angelic creatures. Just imagine a gigantic, live teddy bear walking around your home, staring at you with those friendly eyes. You could have so much fun with those furry animals; just imagine sharing honey with it on the breakfast table, or snuggling up to it when it's super-cold. Also, you wouldn't have to feed it in winter, because it would be hibernating.

Contestant 7

Chipmunks are truly adorable! Every time I see one, I think of the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie series. I would love to have a chipmunk and teach it tricks. Chipmunks aren't native to Hong Kong, so I would start breeding them and releasing them into the wild … as long as I could get permission from the government. I do not want to get arrested - never ever.
