Is it too late now to say Sorry, Bieber?

Just when it looked like Hong Kong's music scene was starting to equal that of Singapore and Tokyo, Justin Bieber has cancelled his entire Purpose world tour - including his stop in the 852.

The official statement on his website reads: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts.  Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates."

We can't help but wonder if China's Bieber Ban last week, for "bad behaviour" has contributed to this decision.

The Despacito singer had performed 154 of the tour's shows, and had just 15 left. Hong Kong was the second-to-last date.

Here's hoping Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles don't get any funny ideas about following his lead; otherwise, JB, it really will be too late to say sorry.

Meanwhile, here's the latest remix of Justin's latest single, 2u.
