According to the chief of Manchester police, the horrible attack that left 22 dead - including children - and 50 injured was most likely carried out by one individual. The Guardian reports the current figure for those injured is 59, and that Greater Manchester Police will regard this as a terror attack until there is further information.
The explosive, a suspected improvised device, is believed to have been detonated around 10.30pm (5.30am Hong Kong time).
