Two 15-year-old boys were arrested on Tuesday, after allegedly kicking and demanding money from another boy in Tuen Mun.
Last Saturday, several suspects aged between 14 and 18 accused a 13-year-old boy of looking confrontational on a podium at H.A.N.D.S, a shopping mall in Tuen Mun, according to a police report. They began beating and kicking him. A 15-year-old boy, one of the suspects, also allegedly demanded money from him. A small sum was believed to be stolen from the victim, the police report says.
The victim was sent to Tuen Mun hospital.
According to a report by local media HK01, the 13-year-old boy made some enemies at a basketball court near the shopping mall. He was later ambushed by at least 10 members of a teen gang. The report said that many of his attackers were hitting him with metal poles, and they were also kicking him on his head and back.
