Three protest icons, Joshua Wong Chi-fung, Andy Chan Ho-tin and Agnes Chow Ting  have reportedly been arrested. Chan was arrested on suspicion of rioting and assaulting a police officer during the Sheung Shui anti-parallel traders protest.Wong was arrested on three charges of organising, inciting and taking part in an illegal assembly during the besieging of the Wan Chai police headquarters on June 21, while Chow was detained on charges of inciting and taking part in the same illegal assembly.

Chan was arrested on Thursday night at the Hong Kong International Airport as he attempted to board a flight to Japan, while Wong was heading to South Horizons MTR station on Friday morning when he was pushed into a private car and taken to police headquarters in Wan Chai, according to the political party Demosisto. Chow was arrested at her home in Tai Po.
