Hong Kong police made a public appeal on Tuesday for help in the search for a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing earlier this month.

Ng Tsz-nok went missing after he left his home in Ping Tin Estate, near Lam Tin, on the afternoon of July 5. His family made a report to the police on the same day.

According to police, the teen is 1.7 metres tall, weighs 50 kilograms and is of thin build with a pointed face and brown short curly hair. He was last seen wearing a purple short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black sports shoes.

Police have urged anyone with information to contact officers at the Regional Missing Person Unit of Kowloon East on 3661 0316; email rmpu-ke-2@police.gov.hk; or contact any police station.
