UPDATE: Missing 18-year-old HK boy found safe

Police are appealing for information on Lau Lap-sun's whereabouts

[UPDATE - Wednesday, September 26, 1.45pm] Eighteen-year-old Lau Lap-sun, who went missing after he left his home in Pak Tin Estate, Sham Shui Po, on Sunday afternoon, has been found.

Police located the teen on Aberdeen Praya Road, in Aberdeen on the south of Hong Kong Island, yesterday afternoon. He sustained no injuries and no suspicious circumstances were detected.

Lap-sun originally went missing on September 23. His family reported his disappearance the same day.

An 18-year-old boy has been missing for two days after leaving his home on Sunday afternoon.

Lau Lap-sun lives in Pak Tin Estate in Sham Shui Po and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black trousers and blue flip-flops.

His family filed a police a police report on September 23, the day he went missing. It describes Lap-sun as about 1.9 metres tall, 74 kilograms in weight and of fat build. He has a square face and short black hair.
