It goes without saying that Clockenflap festival’s 10 year anniversary is going to be massive

Clockenflap have given us a sneak preview into which acts will be hitting Hong Kong this year for the festival’s 10th edition, and November can't come fast enough!

The festival has gone all retro on us with news that 90s superstars Massive Attack and The Dandy Warhols will be among the bands gracing the Central Harbourfront stage. Danish singer-songwriter MØ, who loaned her voice to the Major Lazer earworm Lean On, will also be playing, along with Canadian soloist Feist and the British indie pop group Blossoms.

The first of several line-up announcements, released yesterday, also revealed local acoustic duo Per Se, aka Stephen Mok and Sandy Ip, will be performing alongside Hong Kong favourites Supper Moment. Also making a first appearance in the city will be Tinariwen, a group of folk rock musicians from the Sahara Desert. Norwegian hip hop star and Ariana Grande collaborator Cashmere Cat will be flying in, too, along with Taiwanese alternative band Hello Nico and mainland Chinese rap group Higher Brothers.

It’s not just about the music, though: there’ll be lots of food, arts, performance and local craft stalls.

Last year’s festival saw post-rockers Sigur Ros, rap star MIA and dance DJ duo The Chemical Brothers headline the three-day event, the first time Clockenflap was held in Central, having moved from its previous West Kowloon Harbourfront locations.
