Suspicious package found at Ocean Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui just a false alarm

At 2:10 in the afternoon today, police recieved a report of a suspicious package outside a store at Ocean Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui. The Fire Department and the Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau were deployed and the object was confirmed not to be a bomb, nor did it contain any explosives by 3:49pm. 

A police spokesperson said bomb threats are a serious crime and can carry a maxium penalty of up to five years imprisoment and a HK$150,000 fine. Due to the severity of the indicent, the case will be investigated for further details, and eyewitnesses are urged to contact 3661-8255.
