With so many glittering decorations, lights, and installations around the city, it’s super hard to decide where to go to for the most photogenic Christmassy photos. With the joyous festival just two weeks away, Young Post checks out five top locations you should visit for some gorgeous shots!

A London Christmas in Hong Kong 

Walking along the tree-lined boulevard in Lee Tung Avenue, in Wan Chai, this Christmas to feel like you’re on one of London’s famous shopping streets. 

Five angelic figures from Regent Street’s “Spirits of Christmas” installations are on display, bringing some foreign Christmas vibes to the city.

This is the first time the acclaimed Christmas lights are being shown in Asia. To capture your best festive shot, be at the avenue in the evening to catch the 10-minute artificial snow show – every hour, on  the hour, between 5pm-9pm.

Christmas in the Wonderland!

Lewis Carroll fans will find themselves in Wonderland at Sha Tin’s New Town Plaza.

The outdoor area on the seventh floor has been turned into a starlit garden with roses, glowing mushrooms, rotating coffee cups, and glossy mirrors.

Head to the Alice – Into the Rabbit Hole interactive digital art exhibition on the plaza’s third floor and wander through a nine-metre rabbit hole to explore Alice’s Room, the Pool of Tears, the Mushroom Garden, and, of course, take a selfie with the Cheshire Cat and the huge inflatable Alice doll at the entrance!

The Christmas Bridge of Love

Take photos against the Christmas-themed backdrops of snowflakes and Christmas trees.

Indulge yourself in the sweet romance of the  40-metre-long Christmas Bridge, the first lovelock bridge in Hong Kong, at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt of Harbour City, in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Next to the bridge is a gigantic, 18-metre outdoor Christmas tree. These two key spectacles, together with other festive installations, will be covered by about 200,000 LED lights to create stunning lighting effects in the evening.

If you make a HK$50 donation to “The Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation”, you can also enter the world’s largest video kaleidoscope, and take photos against the Christmas-themed backdrops of snowflakes, and Christmas trees.

Put up your best shots on Instagram and watch the likes come flooding in.

A Neon Christmas

If you’re obsessed with street art in Hong Kong, China Hong Kong City, in Tsim Sha Tsui,  is the place to be.

Australian artist Drew Straker has turned his signature neon-sign-like 3D graffiti into unique Christmas lights which are displayed on the building’s facade.
