3. Unleash my inner carny

Working at an amusement park is probably the best summer job ever. I've always wanted to control those huge roller-coasters and wear the fancy uniforms. Also, being a kid at heart, what's better than working at what is basically heaven for children? Nothing, that's what.

6. McD for free

As I'm only nine years old, I'm not allowed to get a summer job. But, if I could, I'd work at McDonalds in exchange for free French fries, hamburgers, ice creams and all the foods I'm banned from eating, because my mum considers them unhealthy.

I would love to work with pets! What's better than being face-to-face with cute tortoises, cats, dogs and hamsters all day?

9. Crafting critiques

If there are two things I absolutely enjoy doing, it's lazing around and writing, so my perfect summer job would be writing food reviews! Not only would I get to try things I've never tried before, I'd also get to write about it! I'll happily go try new dishes, rate them, and let my inner Gordon Ramsay scream out.

Anushka Purohit, 15, Renaissance College

I'd like to work as a cashier in a supermarket. It has been my dream since childhood to "doot" things.
