Spring into action

I like the pleasant weather. It's so refreshing to see flowers blossom everywhere after the chilly winter and inhale the spring air. Easter is a perfect time for us to go hiking and appreciate Mother Nature.

As an anime lover, the cherry blossom is definitely the best feature of Easter! Though it only lasts two weeks, those amazing light-pink blossoms blooming so gorgeously are so romantic!

Bunnies and chocolates? They do make Easter awesome, but as a Catholic, Easter is a time to remind myself of how Jesus sacrificed himself for us, and therefore, we should learn to be as selfless as Him; always forgive people and help the needy.

My family and I don't exactly celebrate Easter, but the fact that I get an entire week off from school to spend some quality time with my parents makes it special.

Adorable bunnies, sweet chocolates, and a two-week holiday - what more do you want from a festive holiday?

The best thing about Easter is the chance to shop for new clothes based on spring trends and finally revamp my closet with pastel shades like baby blue and lavender. Easter means sales, new looks, free time to roam the shops and an excuse to dress up!

When I start to see rabbits and eggs in shopping malls, I look forward to the icy winds of winter going away and the summer sun starting to shine.

Easter may just be a holiday for restless students and workers, but as a Catholic, I love the spirit of repentance and the inner peace that I experience in my prayers. Even if you are not religious, try to do something for a charitable cause and be more self-disciplined as a sign of sacrifice!

The Easter holiday itself is the best thing about Easter. Forget the bunnies, overpriced chocolates and religious feelings. Easter is the best time for us to relax, revise, drink tea, and stay up until ridiculous hours of the night.
