Which Disney villain would make the best roommate?
We asked our readers which Disney villain they would like for a roommate. From the Queen of Hearts to Hades, ruler of the Underworld, here are some of our favourite answers
The best bodyguard ever
If I had to be roommates with a Disney villain, I would pick Shere Khan from The Jungle Book. I love all animals, even the scary ones. I think I could make him become my friend. He would be the best bodyguard and would be able to protect me from danger.

He’s actually a good guy
I would choose Wreck-It Ralph to be my roommate. He is technically a bad guy in his movie, but we all know he’s really sweet and a great friend. He would only get angry or hurt someone if they hurt his friends.

Love your hair
My favourite Disney villain would absolutely be Hades from Hercules. He is menacing but funny. That’s a hard balance to achieve, but Hades pulls it off perfectly. The best thing about him is his fiery hair. I love how it turns from a cool blue to orange when he’s mad. He’s certainly not the scariest villain, but he is the funniest, and that’s why I think he’d make a great roommate.

Smells like strawberries
I would pick Lotso from Toy Story 3. I think Lotso only acts evil because he was mistreated by his owner in the past. All he needs is someone who will love him and care for him. I love teddy bears a lot and I’d love to have one that can talk and smells like strawberries.

Turn me into a dragon!
If I had to be roommates with a Disney villain, I’d definitely pick Maleficent. I don’t think it’s fair to say she’s evil. How would you feel if everyone except you got invited to a huge party? Perhaps Maleficent would not be so bitter if the queen and king invited her to their daughter’s christening. I think it’s so cool that she can turn into a dragon; maybe she could turn me into one, too! That would be completely epic.

No more insomnia
It would be Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent. I’ve been dreaming of having a good night’s sleep, and I think she is the only one who could make my wish come true. All she’d need to do is put her sleeping curse on me and I could sleep for 100 years. Hooray!

Don’t wear fur
I’d like to choose Cruella from 101 Dalmatians. I know she is very selfish and cruel to animals, but I’d like to have the chance to teach her to respect and love animals, and explain why wearing fur is bad. I will also introduce her to faux fur and vegan leather products, and convince her to buy products made from those materials instead.

Chilling at the castle
I’d like the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland to be my roommate. She is the queen of a magical land and owns a huge castle. If I were her roommate, I would ask her if I could visit castle in Wonderland. Then I could play croquet like Alice did and have a tea party in her rose garden. That would be lovely.

Do all the chores
If I had to share a room with a Disney villain, I would choose Cinderella’s evil stepmother. I hate how horribly she treated poor Cinderella and I would love to give her a good scolding. I’d make sure she does her part to keep our room clean and have her scrub the floor and wash the dishes so she can see how it feels.

Help me move
If I could pick a villain from Disney to share a room with, I’d pick Pete, Mickey Mouse’s canine nemesis. He likes to play tricks on Mickey, but he is very strong. It would like to have him as a roommate because he could help me move all my furniture into my room. That way I wouldn’t have to worry about looking for an affordable yet reliable moving company.
