What’s the most embarrassing text you’ve ever sent?

We've all done it before: hit "send" and then realise it isn't the person that text was meant to go to, or that you missed a really, really bad typo. At least we're not alone

One letter away from death!

The most embarrassing text I ever sent is when I tried to say “OK” to my teacher, but instead I wrote “PK” – which basically means “drop dead!”When I sent it to my teacher, my face turned red and I didn’t know what to do!

Not-so-family finances

I sent the worst and the most embarrassing message when I was Form One. I was trying to send the receipt for my school uniform to my father, but instead I sent it to the class Whatsapp group. I didn’t even realise it until someone replied: “Yup! It is so expensive!” Ten minutes later, I explained my mistake to everyone. Then they all sent me the laughing shout emoji.

Does she look like a BBQ?

One time I was trying to type “girl”, but it got autocorrected to “grill”. Then my friend was very angry and said: “What! You say i am a grill?” I was so embarrassed!!

Secret’s out

My friend Sandy asked me to go shopping with her one day, but I wanted to go to Ocean Park with another friend instead. I didn’t want to hurt Sandy’s feelings, so I lied and said that I couldn’t go because my mom was sick and no one was at home. A few minutes later I texted my other friend: “So what time are we heading to Ocean Park?” Then I realised that I had actually texted that to Sandy!!! Sorry, Sandy!

Double whammy

I once saw a pregnant woman giving birth on the bus. Luckily there was a doctor there, and he helped her deliver the baby. I wanted to text my friend about it but I was, way too excited and nervous at the same time! “OMG I’m witnessing a man DEVOURING A BABY!!!!”...Well, stupid auto-correct. What’s worse, I texted it to the wrong person. I sent that to my English tutor and she almost had a heart attack! That’s embarrassing!

Autocorrect or auto-cannibal?

The most embarrassing test I have ever sent was: “I am eating my head.” Really I just wanted to say: “I am eating my bread” to share my happiness. This frightened my friend and became a big joke!

An accidental valentine

One day, my friend messaged me asking what my favourite animal was. After a few seconds, I replied that I love the cat. Suddenly, I realised that I sent the message to a different classmate – and the most embarrassing thing is that her name is Cat.

From my mother to another

On my mum’s birthday, I wanted to text her: “I Love You.” But right then a classmate texted and I ended up sending “I love you” to him! A minute later he replied: “You Love Me?”

I wrote: “No! No! No! I just sent it wrong! Sorry! Sorry!”

But he said if I loved him, I didn’t need to be shy!

I tried to explain it to him, but he always says that I am lying. In the end, he didn’t believe me, and even now, he still believes that I love him.

Silly me in the WC

One day, I messaged my friend to tell her that I had stomachache and I wanted to go to the bathroom. However , due to my careless mistake, I accidentally sent it to my class group chat! Oh My Gosh! It was so embarrassing!!!

Constipation contemplation

I like to use the function where I speak into the phone and it types out the words I’m saying so I can send them. One time, I was talking to my classmate about a project and I asked: “Do you have a group? I don’t think I have one yet.”

But it typed out as, “Do you have a poop? I don’t think I have one yet.” The worst part is that I hit “send” before reading it twice ... so embarrassing!
