May the force be with who?

May the force be with who?

For this week's Top 10, we asked our readers: if you could be any Star Wars character, who would you be and why? Here are our favourite answers…

Ol' cinnamon-bun-head

Princess Leia of course! I would love to have a cool hairstyle like her's for once in my life.

Haram Yoon, 14, YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College

Join the dark side!

Darth Vader. I always found people's lack of faith disturbing so it'd be awesome to rule the galaxy with thousands of stormtroopers at your disposal.

Justin Wong, 17, TWGHs Wong Fut Nam College

A noble beauty

I would like to be Padmé Amidala. Although she was young, she was not afraid of anything. She was very responsible and serious. Protecting her people was her biggest concern. Of course, she was so beautiful and charming that I would like to be her, definitely.

Yuki Chiu, 17, Fung Kai Liu Man Shek Tong Secondary School

A genius in disguise?

What can be better than being Jar Jar Binks, a clumsy alien who seems stupid but manages to eradicate an entire squadron of tanks and save his planet. Mesa clumsy but mesa represent my planet of clumsy people. Waiting for a plot twist where Jar Jar turns to the dark side of the force and fights the Republic. Would be hilarious!

Ernest Leung Lok Hang, 16, La Salle College

Interesting choice

I'd be Yoda. He's small, cute, and - most importantly - green! Imagine how easy it would be to camouflage!

Anushka Purohit, 15, Renaissance College

Brains beat 'em all

It would be cool to be C-3PO. True, he's a bit cowardly when it comes to the big battles, but his sparks of genius make up for that.

Joshua Lee, 17, Sha Tin College

Power of annoyance

I would be Jar Jar Binks, the most repulsive character in the entire six movies. Then I can annoy anyone I want and get them to go away.

Liam Fung, 13, Chinese International School

Man of steel?

What could be cooler than being a gold robot? C-3PO is as kind and caring as a human, but with all the perks of being made of metal and not having to worry about being killed. He's also fluent in more than six million forms of communication - that's pretty awesome.

Zachary Perez Jones, 10, South Island School

Imagine a bad hair day!

Definitely Chewbacca. I've always wondered what it would be like to live with so much fur. (I guess his hair maintenance costs are just out of this world.)

Catherine Wang, 16, Chinese International School

He's no mere mortal

Han Solo. Although he doesn't have "the force", he often defies the odds and is one of the greatest leaders of the rebel alliance. I admire his charm and his ability to get out of any situation.

Angus Kelleher, 16, Australian International School
