Look as cool, collected, yet as ready for adventure as Olivier with an Up-inspired look.

Pixar’s Up is all about the spirit of adventure – so what better way to pay tribute to this high-flying tale than an easy, smart-casual holiday look? For this week’s look, model Olivier Lee wears a white, button-down polo shirt with a fun tropical bird print that’s a tribute to the film’s multicoloured, featherbrain bird, Kevin. Cotton, especially in a classic white, is a great fabric to wear when out and about, and will keep you cool and comfortable on your travels.

A simple top like this allows you to play around with more colour in the bottom half of your look – it’s an Up-inspired look, after all, so a bright pop of colour is essential. Blue features a lot in the film which is why Olivier wears it here, but any sharp, eye-catching colour will do. Finish off the look with a simple pair of white trainers.

Never forget SPF!

Strong brows

Olivier is already blessed with a set of full brows like the film’s main character, so he didn’t need much help. But for those with less bushy brows, you can get this look by simply brushing through your brows with a brow gel that matches your natural brow colour. If your brows need more help to look full, fill them in with a brow pencil, then lightly brush over them with a cotton bud to soften the look.

Don’t forget to apply moisturiser first, then sunscreen to your face, and reapply the SPF throughout the day.

A little bit of wax can give your hair that right poof.

The classic bouffant

For an effortlessly cool hairstyle, you want something that’s more like adult Carl’s loosely slicked back hairdo than Ellie’s helmet hair look – you want to look put together, but not too done up, for the holiday ’Gram shots.

To get this look, blow-dry your hair after you shower. This gives your hair more volume than if left to dry naturally. This style works better on longer locks, but the following instructions can also help to tame unruly short hair. Take a small amount of wax and warm it between your fingers before working it into your hair. (A wax with medium hold and a matte finish to give your hair a lift without making it crunchy or greasy.) Twist the top section of your hair back and upwards, and smooth the sides down with a comb and a bit more product.
