Fishing is one of the mini-games that has been significantly revamped in the remake of 'The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening'.

Early word suggests that the Switch remake of the classic 1993 Game Boy game is going to be a huge hit, with the new isometric 3D perspective and lush, colourful environments scoring highly with reviewers.

For the uninitiated, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is an action-adventure game focused on exploration and combat, with the player controlling Link across Koholint Island, while fighting monsters and exploring underground dungeons.

This iteration of the game is Nintendo’s 25th Zelda console release, the first being The Legend on Zelda on its Nintendo Entertainment System console in 1986. The franchise has been an enormous success for the gaming giant – second only to Mario-themed games — selling more than 109 million units worldwide.
