China Mobile cut its monthly package fee by 25 per cent on Tuesday. It is the last of four major mobile operators in HK – after CSL, SmarTone, and 3HK – to jump into the price war ahead of the latest iPhone launch.

The price war was started by CSL, who started offering a 6GB university student plan at a price 57 per cent lower than their previous 6GB plan. Young Post spoke with representatives from these companies. They are offering these plans to students above 18 who have a valid student ID card from a local university.
