The finals of the 2015 League of Legends (Lol) World Champions will be held on Saturday October 31, 2015 (8.00pm HK time) at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin. The final showdown will be between two Korean teams, the KOO Tigers (Koo) and the favourites to win, former world champions SK Telecom T1 (SKT).

These two teams fought their way through the best from North America, Europe, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, and in fact SKT is heading into the finals undefeated in all their games.

Koo look more vulnerable, exiting group stages with only four wins in their six games. They dropped a game to fellow Koreans KT Rolster in a best of five before eliminating them and advancing to the semifinal against the European squad Fantic, whom they beat 3-0 on their road to the final.

SKT, meanwhile, boasts Faker, Lee Sang-hyeok – widely regarded as the best player in the world – as well as Bengi and Bae Seong-ung (also a former world champion). They are currently set to become the first ever two-time world champions in Lol esports’ five year history.

Even Hong Kong Esports' Kurtis Lau Wai-kin, better known as Toyz, a former world champion himself predicts a SKT win, stating “SKT will 3-0 Koo [in a best of five].”

The games can be watched online via streams at YouTube and Twitch.
