There are plenty of high school hijinks in a new anime rom-com series called Nisekoi, as two students fake a relationship to stop their yakuza and mob families going to war.

The show revolves around Raku Ichijo, a normal high school student but with one big difference: he's the heir to a major Yakuza clan. Life for Raku is peaceful, and his daydreams are filled with the memory of a girl he met 10 years ago and a promise they made to each other.

However, Raku can't remember her name or what she looks like. The only thing he does remember is that she holds the key to a locket that he wears around his neck.

Raku has developed a crush on his classmate Onodera Kosaki, who feels the same way, but both are too shy to admit it to each other.

To complicate things, Kirisaki Chitoge, a Japanese-American transfer student, joins the class. Chitoge is the heir to the Beehive gang, which has started a turf war with Raku's Yakuza clan.

To bring peace, the pair pretends to be in a romantic relationship. But they have their work cut out, as a Beehive boss doesn't believe the relationship is real, and waits for them to slip up.

Raku tries to keep up appearances, but the situation becomes more complicated as several girls start falling for him.

The show can be seen for free on the live streaming anime site Daisuki.net so surf on over for a good laugh.
