Taiwanese cellist and actress Nana Ou-yang made waves among her 9 million followers on Weibo after she performed with platinum-selling American rapper Wiz Khalifa at a science award ceremony in the US early last month.

The ceremony, which was hosted by actor Morgan Freeman, was held at Nasa’s Ames Research Centre in Silicon Valley.

Ou-yang and Khalifa performed the latter's Grammy-nominated hit, See You Again. She may only be 17, but with two albums, six films and more than 1 million Instagram followers to her name, it's clear she is already something of a veteran.

A lot has happened to the artist since we spoke to her in 2016; no doubt 2018 will see her adding even more amazing achievements to her CV.
