Tom Cruise has done it again. He's made an impossible mission, well … possible.
With high-speed car chases and hand-to-hand combat, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation is more action-packed than any of its predecessors.
Played by Cruise, the relentless Ethan Hunt reunites his Impossible Mission Force (IMF) field agents - Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg), William Brandt (Jeremy Renner), and Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames) - in a mission to take down the bad guys; the Syndicate. Hunt is joined by Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who plays the complicated "we-don't-know-whose-side-she's-on" role.
Whether it's hanging off the side of a moving plane, holding his breath underwater for six minutes, or drifting through the narrow streets of Morocco, no stunt is too daunting for Cruise.
Despite its long running time, this fast-paced, unpredictable film keeps audiences engaged and amazed in every scene.
Rogue Nation balances all the action with scenic shots of Vienna, Morocco, and London.
As the fifth in the series, there was always the risk that the film wouldn't offer anything new, but director Christopher McQuarrie delivers an exciting storyline filled with action, suspense, and comedy (who doesn't love Benji?), meaning Rogue Nation is not one to be skipped.
