The Incredibles 2 will premier later this year.

On Monday, Pixar (FINALLY) announced the cast of the highly anticipated Incredibles 2, the sequel to its 2004 superhero hit. (Is it fair to make fans wait 14 years??)

The announcement, in the form of 11 character concept art paintings alongside photographs of the voice actors, released on Facebook and Twitter, have set fans of the original into a frenzy on social media.

1. Craig T. Nelson

Charater: Bob Parr / Mr. Incredible

What else do you know him from? He is reprising his role as Bob Parr / Mr. Incredible for the sequal, but you might also remember him as the opinionated patriarch of the Braverman family - Zeke - from Parenthood.

2. Holly Hunter

Character: Helen Parr / Elastigirl
 

What else you know her from? She played Senator Finch in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and was also in last year's incredibly popular and successful The Big Sick.

3. Brad Bird

Character: Edna E. Mode

What else do you know him from? Apart from directing The Incredibles franchise, Bird also wrote and directed Ratatouille, and the sci-fi thriller, Tomorrowland.

4. Samuel L. Jackson

Character: Lucuis best / Frozone 

What else you know him from? You probably know that Jackson is part of cult classics like Pulp Fiction and Jurassic Park, but it's likely his more recent role as Nick Fury in Marvel movies and TV shows you know him best from. 

5. Sarah Vowell

Character: Violet Parr

What else do you know her from? Vowell is really more of an author than actress. She has written seven non-fiction books on American history and culture, and was a contributing editor for the radio program This American Life on Public Radio International from 1996 to 2008.

 

6. Huckleberry "Huck" Milner

Character: Dashiell "Dash" Parr

What else do you know him from? Huck will be replacing Spencer Fox, who played Dash in the first film. This will be his first film ever. No pressure.

7. Bob Odenkirk

Character: Winston Deavor 

What else do you know him from? Odenkirk played Saul Goodman, the smooth-talking lawyer on Breaking Bad, before landing his own show, Better Call Saul, for which he has won numerous awards and accolades.

8. Catherine Keener

Character: Evelyn Deavor 

What else do you know her from? Keener appeared in Into the Wild , Percy Jackson & the Olympians, and played Missy Armitage in last year's critically acclaimed horror film, Get Out

 

9. Isabella Rossellini 

Character: Ambassador 

What else do you know her from? Rossellini played Lisle von Rhoman in the hilarious dark comedy, Death Becomes Her, which earned her an Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA award for Best Supporting Actress. 

10. Jonathan Banks

Character: Winston Deavor 

What else do you know him from? Banks has received critical acclaim for portraying Mike Ehrmantraut in Breaking Bad and in its spin-off, Better Call Saul. He has also recieved five Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

 

11. Sophia Bush

Character: Voyd

What else do you know her from? You may know Bush as the carefree, spirited Brooke Davis from One Tree Hill. She also had a role to play in the 2006 teen rom-com, John Tucker Must Die.
