The approach of the case study methodology is very interactive and this is when students all come into play. To facilitate a fruitful brainstorm, we are encouraged to share our views and open up ourselves. The discussion makes the classroom experience unique and more than mere lecturing. We are able to contribute our creative and in-depth ideas through critical thinking, and at the same time, get to know each other better.
At the end of every class, I feel like an unsatisfied children demanding for more brownies, only that in my case, I call for more inspiring exchanges.
Luckily, at break times in between lessons, we form into groups to continue sharing. As we all come from different backgrounds, we share our experiences and school life, family stories and best buddies. After barely a week, we all feel at ease raising our hands to share our thoughts in class.
I believe in the end what we contribute is not as important as what we will take away from the program which is priceless - It will be a life long friendship that will last forever, just like our teacher ‘Caption’ Eric has told us at the very beginning.
Socialising with the class during the break about school life and the upcoming Ivey cases.
