Otaku Zone continues its interview with the adorably petite Ani-son songstress Marina Kawano, who surprisingly is an otaku herself.

The singer, 22, confessed she is re-reading the classic manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for the third time.

"I find the artwork beautiful and the dialogue really resonates with me. I find the main character is a good example to learn from," Marina says.

As an Ani-son singer, we asked Marina is she had any favourite theme songs she would sing at karaoke, and she laughingly replied: "Well, I usually sing the theme songs from Slam Dunk, Magical Girl Madoka, and Haruhi Suzumiya, which I'll be performing tonight (at ACGHK 2012)."

As she was away from home, we asked if she was recording any of her favourite shows, and Marina said she was recording Accel World and Nyanko.

We've wondered what Marina's musical career goals were, and she told us: "It's a little early in my career, but I'd like to hold concerts in all the Domes [arenas] in Japan and to perform with Nana Mizuki."

He next single will be part of Hitoma Iruma's multimedia project Arata-naru Sekai (World/Start/Load/End), a Blu-ray box set to include not only anime but also manga, a novel and a soundtrack.

Arata-naru Sekai will be released in Japan on October 20/ It will have a suggested retail price of 8,800 yen (HK$866). Fans must mark that date on their calendar.
