December has arrived, which means Christmas is on its way. Aside from the Yuletide festivities, most gaming otaku look forward to the Asia Game Show that takes place each year during the Christmas holidays.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the exhibition, and Sony PlayStation Hong Kong promises lots of new elements, including a "Creative Media Career Expo", a "Women's Gaming Zone" and "Ten Years Milestones in Asian Games".

This year's theme is careers. The Creative Media Career Expo will offer visitors in their late teens and older employment information and opportunities, with seminars by industry experts sharing interview and communication skills. For the first time, job interviews will take place during the show, with about 50 vacancies available in creative media.

Another special event to look forward to is the official Hong Kong launch of the PlayStation Portable's successor, the PSP Vita, a new hand-held portable gaming device that boasts some incredible improvements in hardware and software. There are two versions: 3G + Wi-fi for HK$2,780, and Wi-fi only for HK$2,280. This will most likely be the hot seller of the show, so make sure to get there early on opening day.

When: 23-25 December (10am-8pm), 26 December (10am-5pm)

Where: Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre

Tickets: HK$28
