From the moment I was able to think, I've only hoped for one superpower - to fly. When I was five, I wanted to fly because I wanted to be Superman. When I was eight, I wanted to fly so I could prove to my friends that I'm unique. When I was 13, I wanted to fly so I'd have a way to beat the severe traffic jams. Now I still want to be able to fly. I want to be able to escape from reality sometimes, just for a while.

I would choose telepathy, the ability to read other people's emotions and thoughts. By looking into their eyes, I could know what was on their minds instantly. This would improve my relationships with others. I'd also be able to emit brainwaves and communicate with someone even when we were far apart. This would improve my friendships, because I'd be able to communicate with people at any time.

As well as the current financial crisis, the worst problem we all face is global warming. If I had a superpower, I'd love to have the power to heal and control nature. I would restore the Arctic ice and the glaciers. I'd put the colour back in the coral reefs. I'd eliminate greenhouse gases. This superpower would effectively recycle plastic and get rid of the need to cut down trees. I'd make the ozone layer thick again to protect us from the massive amount of heat from the sun.

If I could have one superpower, I would name it "IncrediMind". It would allow me to read people's minds and know what they are thinking and feeling. But my intention would not be to spy on other people's affairs. I would use it to cure the mentally ill. As a "mind therapist", I would be able to understand what was wrong with the patients' minds and then fix them without the need for medication. Even if the patients couldn't express themselves, IncrediMind would let me explore their world and bring them back.
