Marks & Spencer Easter Bunny and Eggs
Tara Lee, 16, Diocesan Girls' School (with Phila Siu)
Presentation 7/10
Taste: 6.5/10

This bunny looks like an alien with its metallic blue foil, overly large ears and eerie eyes. Its yellow bow is cute, though. As for the taste, just one word: ordinary. It is plain milk chocolate, which is neither too bitter nor too sweet - but it isn't a real treat, either. It will do, however, as a sweet to share with family or friends after a holiday meal.
Green & Black's Organic Dark Chocolate Egg
Jeremy Chan Zhing-yin, 11, Diocesan Preparatory School (with Susan Ramsay)
Presentation 8/10
Taste: 7/10
HK$85
This dark chocolate is very bitter and is more suitable for adults than children with a sweet tooth. But it does have some real cocoa bean content, which will linger on the taste buds if you let the chocolate melt in your mouth. If you like dark chocolate, you will definitely like this Easter egg.
Lucullus Smiling Bunny with Carrot
Ken Cheung Kwan-kiu, 16, YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College (with Wong Yat-hei)
Presentation 6/10
Taste: 5/10
HK$99
It is an unusual-looking rabbit with a strange facial expression. When we opened the box, the carrot just tumbled out. The chocolate the bunny is made of tasted so-so. It reminded us of those chocolate gold coins from the mainland we have at Lunar New Year. It was certainly not something to savour.
Godiva Beaded Easter Egg
Shreena Thakore, 16, South Island school (with Joyee Chan)
Presentation 10/10
Taste: 9/10
HK$400
The casing is an enormous egg embedded with coloured sequins and beads and decorated with tulips and butterflies. Inside we found lots of colourful mini-eggs with four different flavours: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and chocolate with coconut cream and almond butter filling. The chocolate was smooth and creamy. From first glance to final bite, I was smitten.
Lindt Bunny Family

Presentation 9/10
Taste: 7/10
HK$170
The chocolate is nice and creamy and melts like butter in your mouth. It's a bit on the sweet side, though. There is a nice-looking big bunny with a few little ones so this makes for an ideal gift to share with friends. Overall, it's a nice treat both in its look and taste. P.S.: Sorry for making a mess on the table!
