The girls headlined Ani-Con's second night of live music, and the front of stage was awash with Scandal fans. Local bands Haze and Wild Boys opened but had to compete with Scandal's screaming fans.
Their appearance was a preview to their concert the following night at the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre. The band performed 15 songs including Everybody Say Yeah from their upcoming album Temptation Box.
The girls - (from left)Tomomi Ogawa (bass/vocals), Haruna Ono (guitar/vocals), Rina Suzuki (drums/vocals) and Mami Sasasaki (guitar/vocals) - started out as an indie band in 2006 and shot to success after signing with Sony's Epic Records in 2008. Since then, their songs have been used in animes, a television drama, video games and commercials.
Temptation Box, which includes some previously released singles, will be available this week in one standard edition and two limited editions. Don't create a Scandal; buy their album.
