Known to fans as UraBoku, the show's title can be loosely translated as 'betrayal knows my name'. It's based on the Shojo manga by Odagiri Hotaru whose previous works include Invisible Boy and Only the Ring Finger Knows.
The story revolves around student Yuki Sakurai who was abandoned as a baby with only a note that had one word written on it: 'Yuki'. Now, years later, Yuki must face the fact that he will have to leave the orphanage, the only home he has known as he approaches adulthood.
Although Yuki is popular with the girls, he still feels pangs of loneliness; and even though he strives to be independent and self-reliant, he is afraid of being alone.
To add to his issues, Yuki also has abilities that allow him to feel other people's emotions and see into their minds when he touches them.
One day, Yuki's half-brother shows up and asks him to come live with him in Tokyo. Soon after, a man in black appears and saves Yuki from being run over by a truck. Who is the man in black and why has Yuki's brother shown up now to claim him?
