A businesswoman from Ireland will share with students how she overcame a disability and made a difference to society. Caroline Casey is visually impaired. She founded the Kanchi organisation to help bridge the gap between people with disabilities and without.
She will talk to local youngsters as part of the 'Make a Difference' programme at the Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture in Lok Fu. The talk will be held from 2pm to 4.30pm on Wednesday.
Those interested can register at www.mad.asia for one of the few remaining seats. The organisers have reserved 10 seats for Young Post readers. You can get a ticket online by typing 'SCMP YP Reader' in the 'organisation' field of the registration system.
