Football has attracted a lot of fans all over the world. The sport is so popular that some players earn millions of dollars annually.

This is a special year for the game because the World Cup is going to be held in South Africa in June.

Watching football matches is exciting because the result is highly unpredictable and teams use different strategies to trick their opponents. One example is the "wall pass", which helps a team keep the ball for a longer time.

When players surprise their opponents, they surprise the crowd as well. Hence, they keep the spectators entertained.

Many football players are idolised by fans. One such player is Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid star is very skilful and handsome. He is the most expensive player in football history and was named Fifa World Player of the Year.

Many people pay to just watch him in action.

It is not difficult to learn to play football. Once you know the basic skills, you need to watch matches to learn the strategies.

When you become a good player, you can invite your friends to watch your matches and comment on your performance.

This means more people will be involved and they can promote the sport.

If the World Cup can be held every two years, instead of every four years, more people will be attracted to the game. It will be even better if popular players keep changing teams, making headlines around the world.

With new players, teams will use new strategies which will make the results of matches ever more unpredictable.
