The theme of this Easter photo essay competition was 'Hong Kong In Your Eyes'.

Natalie Ong's shot of a Chinese dolphin swimming among fishing and commercial boats won our hearts. The picture combines Hong Kong's water element, with its fishing and tourism industries and its beautiful but endangered nature.

Natalie wins a National Geographic photography guide, courtesy of National Geographic Channel and will shadow an SCMP photographer out in the field.

The seven runners up include Bianca Brown, Anthony Kerrigan, Natalie Cheng, Marie Wolf, Irish Camille Vidar Isip, Rhiannon Keim, Jessica Shum.

Well done to all participants. You were all very creative in your choice of subject, angle and style and made this competition an exciting one.

Natalie Cheng wins the Young Post Readers' Award. She gets a bag of goodies and a great book.

Danger Approaching
Chinese White Dolphins are one of Hong Kong's trademarks. Yet we do next to nothing to preserve this stunning and unique species. Dolphins are killed every year because of fish nets and passing boats.

This photo was taken down at the old 1913 railway yard in Tai Po Market. I was heavily inspired by the steam punk element HK has adopted throughout the years, so I decided to bring together both that fantastical concept and the history of the old rail-yard.
