Background

Hong Kong will have a knockout Christmas this year when the world-renowned Korean performance arts group JUMP presents its unique cultural blend of comedy, acrobatics and martial arts for the first time to Hong Kong audiences in a special four-day festive extravaganza. JUMP Live in Hong Kong will be staged from 24 to 27 December at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

JUMP’s exciting performances have been smash hits across countries and cultures with acclaimed appearances from Seoul to Busan, Edinburgh to Tokyo, New York to Bangkok, and London to Moscow. Presenting a showcase of slapstick comedy and non-stop action, JUMP leaves its audiences marvelling at gravity-defying movements of traditional Korean martial arts, acrobatics and dance – all presented with hilarious comedy.

The show transcends different cultures with minimal dialogue - the actors communicate with the audience through well-calculated actions and comical facial expressions, complemented by impressive martial arts such as Taekwondo, and gymnastics.

JUMP’s first-ever performances in Hong Kong are sure to be fun-filled festive experiences for all the family and friends. Don’t miss the chance to take part in this one-of-a-kind, action-packed event. JUMP Live in Hong Kong will be held from 24 to 27 December 2009.
