Think you know better than the guys who nominate films for Academy Awards? Tell us about your favourite movie from 2017 and why you think it should win an Oscar, and you could win a fantastic prize!
Grand prize winner will win a portable home projector, and two runners up will win a three-month Netflix subscription. Shortlisted finalists' entries will appear on our website along with the winners', so channel your inner film critic and get writing!
Remember, for a chance to win, you only have these two rules:
1. Your piece must be within the word limit of 350-400 words
2. Your review must include the title of the film, a short description of the plot, and at least one reason why you think it should win an Oscar.
Email your entries to [email protected] with your full name (as printed on your HKID), your age, school name, and phone number, and put “2017 film review” in the subject line.
Deadline for entries is Monday, February 5, at 11.59pm and winners will be announced on Friday, February 9.
