The school held its 31st annual Physical Education Day at the Sheung Shui Sports Ground on March 16 and 17. Perhaps the most satisfying part was that 755 students, or 91.8 per cent of the enrolment, competed in various events.

Red House and Blue House were the big winners of the games. Red House, with their top performance in the track and field events, took the boys' and overall championships.

Blue House won not only the girls' title, but also the best sportsmanship prize and the sports field decoration award.

Yellow House had their moments of pride. They won the team cheering award for an exciting dance show, upbeat slogans to encourage their athletes, and their high-spirited chants. Green House also came first in the Old Boys' Relay.

Principal Lau Chi-yuen's opening speech focused on sportsmanship, friendship, teamwork, fair play and strategy. Guest of honour Chow Chi-ngan, who has won many local races, shared her life experiences in relation to sports. She encouraged students to set clear goals for life and strive to reach them.

The principal's team won the entertaining teacher-student relay.
