My Brother

You were there when no one else was.
Never seemed to hesitate at helping.
You are my friend, my listener.
And for that I am proud to have called you brother.

I remember me, running around the tree,
Until I conked my head on it.
I was crying. And that was when you came.

Radiating an aura of care, you were my guardian angel.
I know we fight and bicker,
But the bond between us never wavers.
We always compare, we always do.
But we never stopped caring for one another. We never did.

Ever since you moved away with "her",
I was alone, all alone.
But I finally understood,
That how much I love you, Brother.
