I Understood Then

Hold tight and we will walk
this journey together.
With you by my side,
 I can go on forever.
There is nothing in the world
that I am more scared of
than losing your love
and the memory of us.
My wings were torn,
but you were there
to help me carry on.
You planted seeds of your love in my heart
and they grew flowers all around it
You put a smile on my face
just like at dawn when the Sun rises.
You shower me with affection,
covering me in your love,
like rain drops falling from the sky.
You are the Moon and the stars,
the brightness at night.

I understood then that you are the Nutella of my life.
