Young Post received some amazing entries for our recent Tell Us About It competition. The competition asked for video book reviews of one minute or less. The best fiction and non-fiction reviewers will each receive a Kindle Paperweight and HK$600 of Kindle vouchers. There is also a Kindle for the most-viewed review.
Readers reviewed a wide range of books, from biographies to self-help guides, and from literary classics to young adult fiction.
One of the judges, deputy editor Karly Cox, says: "I was blown away by the creativity, and the enthusiasm displayed by these readers."
But there could only be three winners. Fellow judge, sub-editor Lucy Christie, says: "Choosing the winners was really hard because the competition was so tough. All the entries were great."
The prize for best fiction review goes to Charlie Fan of Pui Kiu College, who reviewed The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. The prize for best non-fiction review goes to Benson Tam Lok-kwan of The MCHK Wesley College who reviewed Caring for the Earth. And the prize for the most-viewed review goes to Ashmi Ghhondey of St Margaret's Girls' College for her review of Lord of the Flies.
