My costume design for Katy Perry it has to be bright as she likes wearing bright colours. A vintage dress from the 50's or 60's would be nice. Let's not forget the polka dots to make her 'stand out.' It should have a banana, ice cream or similar food item. In order the audience can see her sweet side. Katy has many outfits with tamed objects attached to them like plastic strawberry or other foods. We'd have to be the 'risk takers' as Katy is. Because no one enjoys a copycat. Now to shoes, yes the most important part for us, females Katy Perry's shoes are a big part of her wardrobe so they'll have to 'stand-out.' They'll have to be bright coloured to go with her dress. Since Katy is a big fan of platform shows I suggest we go for platforms also because platforms give us the extra height. Katy loves accessories but too much 'bling' can be frightening. So I would go with the simple accessories like a bracelet or something. I hope Katy Perry picks my essay.
