This could be all yours.We doubt you have time to take part in Nanowrimo (national novel writing month) on top of all your school work, but if you fancy yourself an author, you will want to enter Young Post’s winter short story competition. You’ll have a chance to win an iPad Air 2, and see your work published in Young Post!
This year, the theme is: “I hadn’t expected that to work”. You can interpret the theme any way you like, but the story must be all your own work, must be set in Hong Kong, and be between 1,800 and 2,000 words.
To enter, send your story, along with your name, age, school and a clear headshot (a selfie is fine!), to [email protected], with “Short Story Winter 2016” in the subject field.
Closing date for entries is November 30.
