My faves are coffee, literature, my bullet journal and yellow lights on winter nights.

Every Wednesday we ask our Brain Game contestants one interesting, thought-provoking or just plain quirky question. Their answers will be published anonymously in Young Post. Then readers can vote for their FAVOURITE answer. We will eliminate the contestant with the LEAST votes every week until we have a winner. The contestants

Contestant 1

I would name my fantasy band Seasonal Daydreamz. Being a music lover, I have to admit that I have tried making music myself. Most of it has a dreamy feel to it, and the songs are written from the perspective of someone who is dreaming. We would compose a wide range of music, including songs for the four different seasons of the year.

Contestant 2

If I ever start a fantasy band, I would call it Apollo’s Lyre. Apollo is the Greek god of music and the sun. The lyre, which looks like a small harp, is one of Apollo’s symbols. As a fan of Greek mythology, I wish the band’s songs would brighten up people’s lives when they feel down. Rock on!

Contestant 3

It would be Electro Asylum. The band would mostly play EDM (electronic dance music) and soundtracks. The name should include the word “asylum” because I want the band to introduce a new type of music with lots of strange elements. I want us to be so different from other bands that people will think we’ve gone mad or are just weird. Electro Asylum will represent a place for people who like to play and make their own strange electro music. We also hope to inspire our listeners to play, dance to, or make their own unique, weird music.

Contestant 4

The Sound of Minds. No pop music, electric guitars, or ear-piercing sounds; just mindful music. The band would be like no other, with just three members: a singer, pianist and a harpist. Our music would immerse you in a soulful adventure. Everything would become magical; you will zone out and be surrounded by flora and fauna ... your mind relaxes, your struggles nowhere to be found ... abracadabra! Welcome to the world of fantasy.

Contestant 5

Seraphina, which means the “fiery-winged”, and fiery means to burn brightly. Me and my sisters all share the same interest, hoping to burn brightly as we pursue our passion and interests. So if we were to start a band together, Seraphina would fit us perfectly.

Contestant 6

The Impersonators. We would be the best in the music industry. Our secret? We take the top 100 songs in the charts and mash the songs together to create new lyrics. I’m Not the Only One who thinks it’s the Perfect way to get inspiration for the Best Song Ever. Don’t You Worry Child, we’re not plagiarising anyone; we do Whatever It Takes to maintain a great Reputation

Contestant 7

My choice would be Phoenix. The legendary bird has a special feature; after facing a lot of pain, it can be reborn. Similarly, a lot of people face painful experiences, such as natural disasters or accidents. However, we can choose to face them bravely and persevere, so we can be reborn like a Phoenix and start a new life.
